My name is Sandee Sinclair, President, Fin and Feather Club of Mason County, Michigan Welcome to our web site. Please explore and if you don’t find what you are looking for, please contact us. We would be happy to hear from you. Fin and Feather Club is a private, non profit, volunteer run organization. Approximately 725 members participate in the many events sponsored by the club. Chartered in 1937, it has been in existence for 70+ years as a family orientated, conservation/sportsman's club. As one of the original charter members of the Michigan United Conservation Club, we support such groups as the NRA, Sportsman's Alliance, MCRGO, Sauble River Watershed Restoration, Michigan Bow hunters, Mason County Walleye Association and others. The Club is located on 120 wooded acres on the north branch of the Lincoln River, 6 miles north of Scottville, Michigan and approximately 20 miles south of Manistee, Michigan. The Club House is available for rentals to club members and it is used frequently for many club sponsored events. We welcome guests to look us over and try out our facilities during scheduled events. Amenities include; Skeet, Trap, Sporting Clays, 3 D Archery, Rifle and a Pistol range. We have many shooting activities all year long, so please go to the calendar pages to find the activity that interests you. We sponsor a youth education magazine called "Tracks" through the MUCC that is distributed to kids in area schools. Each year, the club sponsors 6-8 children that attend the MUCC youth camp for a week. Trained instructors present the NRA's "Eddie Eagle" program to the younger children in our school systems and the club also gives a $1000.00 scholarship annually to a student studying in the field of conservation or nature. Along with one of the finest hunter safety classes in the state, certified instructors put on IBEP (International Bow hunter Educational Program) classes. CPL (Concealed Pistol License) and Basic Pistol classes are also held on a regular basis. I'm sure I missed a few things, but our members are good people from all walks of life who share a common interest in their love of the outdoors and all the related activities that go with it. Please come and join us for a day of shooting or just check out the facilities during visitor hours. We will be happy to show you around! |
