The Hunter Safety instructors have started a fund-raiser to help raise $8,800 needed to buy a Laser Shot unit that would assist in the teaching of Hunters Safety. The Laser Shot is a state of the art rifle, shotgun, archery and handgun simulation. The Hunter Safety instructors can instruct students in shot placement, shooting zones, marksmanship, eye-hand coordinations and a “think before you shoot” scenario. This program is done in doors, without any projectiles coming form the guns. The first time shooter learns gun control and this gives them a better shooting success on the live fire part of the class program. We need pledges so that the Hunter Safety Class can purchase the Laser Shot to add to our Hunter Safety Class. If you want to contribute to this, your name will be put in the Tattered Feather Newsletter. If you are a major donor ($500 or more), your name or your business name will be put on the screen of the Laser Shot and will be seen each time the machine is used.
