Hunter Safety

Youth Silhouette Shooting

Trap & Skeet Range Helpers

Tuesday evening and Saturday morning all year long. Saturdays are especially busy and extra help is needed on the range. You do not need to be a shooter or certified Range Safety Officer to volunteer.

MMM - Monthly Meeting Meal

Thanks to Scott and Sandi Hodges and Mae Winters for filling in, but more volunteers are needed. Prepare and help clean up for the meal served at the monthly meetings. Volunteer once or as many times as you wish. Total of 10 meals served per year. The second Wednesday of every month, excluding November and February.

Eddie Eagle Program

In need of a coordinator

2008 was the last year for Bruce. This program distributes Eddie Eagle Magazine to the local schools. Also gives a short instructional program to young children that if they see a gun. Stop, Don’t touch, tell an adult. We need volunteers to step up and take on this important informational and educational opportunity.

Grounds and Maintenance

Volunteers are always needed to help clean grounds, paint buildings, trim branches and clean the ranges. We need helpers NOW, to call members and remind them; so we can get an accurate count of how many can help. This assures that the needed equipment is ready and that enough food is prepared. Bring your chain saws, rakes, hammers and any tool that you have to help with the cleanup of the Fin & Feather grounds.

Archery

The 3-D archery range is open. Cost for members is $4.00, non members $6.00, kids 15 and under shoot for free. You must be a club member or accompanied by a club member in order to shoot the range. The next 3-D archery League will be Big Buck and starts August11, 2009 and continues for 6 weeks.
