The Fin and Feather Club once a year sponsors 6-8 boys and girls from the ages of 9 to 15 to be able to attend the Michigan Out-of-Doors Camp for Kids. The camp is located at Cedar Lake Camp, Chelsea, Michigan. This five day camp consist of most all outdoor related activities, stressing conservation and ecology. This opportunity is offered to any Fin and Feather Club children, grandchildren, neighbors, or friends. The week the kids can attend this great camp begins the middle of June and is available through August. We have heard only good things about this camp from the children that have attended it. The kids are under direct supervision all day and night. All costs, except transportation to and from the camp and personal purchases, are covered by the Fin and Feather Club.

The kids have a great opportunity to experience the great outdoors and enjoy the many activates that are provided. As this is a very popular program, we suggest the parents contact and make arrangements as early as possible. Applications are available from Gordon Grossenbacher:

MUCC CAMP FOR KIDS - 2009

Thanks to Justice and Nicole for their reports on camp.  It appears they both enjoyed the fishing, shooting, archery and other activities.  To gain her team some extra points, Nicole ate a worm!  Now that's a team player.  The 2010 standby list is open now.  Sign your kids up for standby 2010.  Anyone on the 2010 standby list that doesn't get a spot next year will be given priority for 2011 camp.

The 2010 camper list is already filled from our 2009 waiting list. Please don't be discouraged, sign-up to be on the new waiting list. Things can and do happen to provide openings.
