Convention Report

The Fin and Feather Club of Mason county is a proud affiliate of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs.

MUCC is a statewide conservation organization with nearly 60,000 individual members and more than 500 affiliated clubs.  For over sixty years, MUCC has worked to accomplish our mission of “Uniting citizens to conserve, protect and enhance Michigan's natural resources and outdoor heritage.” MUCC works to conserve Michigan's wildlife, fisheries, waters, forests, air, and soils by providing information, education and advocacy.  The organization educates and engages citizens through live animal programs, a youth camp, magazines for kids and adults, a television show, and resource lobbyists.

The MUCC convention was held June 21 and 22, 2008 in Sault Ste. Marie, Mi.
